This selection is nothing short of a revelation. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were picked before they were too ripe, to protect their delicate acidity. Only 10% of the wine is aged in oak barrels, to give it just a lift as opposed to an overstatement... The result is a truly lovely expression of the grape. Melon, pear, peach and lemon peel are just the beginning. The mid-palate shows a wonderful spice component as well as that perfect, citrusy, telltale finish.
