Appellation: Paso Robles, California
Made from a unique Merlot and Petit Verdot blend grown in the cooler parts of Paso Robles on very dense soil. This combination of soil and climate produces smaller grapes of delicacy and lower alcohols. Merlot, especially when blended with Petit Verdot, can be very imposing and most people would expect it to be so. But our selection is a gentler and finer offering that can actually complement foods that larger wines would overpower. Lilting cherries are followed by red roses, finishing with chocolate and spice that make it all work beautifully together.
