Petite Sirah makes luscious wine in California. Jelly Jar commemorates the Italian ancestors of winemaker Andy Pestoni, who would make their wine from vines in the backyard and drink it in jelly jars. No fancy labels and no fancy stemware were needed. Our selection may be named after a simple vessel, but it was given the royal treatment. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new. The result is a powerful statement of flavor and intensity that boggles the mind as well as the senses.
