This winery has been in the same family since 1749! That's before America was even a country! The chateau is due east of Bordeaux and shares much of the topography, not to mention the grapes, of its famous neighbor. Jean-Francois and Sylvie Deffarge run the winery with their two sons, Benjamin and Quintin. Quixotically, "Les Frangins" translates into "brothers," as the two brothers drew their pictures on the label...
