Piemonte is in the top two appellations for wine production in Italy…naturally, there is Tuscany and its darling grape Sangiovese and then there is Piemonte. To me, Piemonte is bit more complicated than Tuscany, but the Piedmontese are just as proud and stubborn as the Tuscans.
